Mainstage Auditions Peer Review

  • Theatre 220 54 Saint Philip Street Charleston, SC, 29401 United States (map)

Are you planning on auditioning for the Department's Spring productions of Chore Monkeys and/or Enemy of the People? Are you unsure of your audition pieces? Do you just want to practice your audition pieces in front of others?

Join us on Monday, November 20th at 6:30pm. We want to have a good group of people who are interested in auditions and receiving some tips'n'tricks of the trade. This will be a peer review audition and not at all a part of the Department's audition process.

The event will be led by Center Stage's Publicity Chair, Josiah Albright. A peer review audition is basically a way of practicing your audition monologues in front a group of your peers who can offer feedback and tips to help you feel more confident for your audition.

Reminder, the Department's auditions for Chore Monkeys and Enemy of the People will be November 26th and 27th (the week after Thanksgiving Break). If you want to better your monologue skills or learn some relaxation tips, please join us! This will be a positive environment that encourages taking risks and applauds those who do. Come to the event prepared with monologues! We can help you figure out which pieces you should use.

Hope to see you there!
